Entry #1Wow, I'm on the "The Great Adventure." I think Uncle Gerard didn't want me to do this. He seemed awfully damn worried about how little I stay home. That was weird.Oh yeah, so my curiosity has gotten me into trouble again, I think Random is pissed at me, and I managed to volunteer myself for the biggest milkrun in the universe. It turns out that Auntie Florimel's baby boy, Monty, can't take care of himself, so now we're going off to find him. Corwin says that we're going to Shadow Earth (though I notice he didn't mention why). It really doesn't make much sense; nothing's there, nothing important anyway.
I don't understand why we are riding through Shadow really either. Surely, she has a Trump of her own house.
Entry #2I can barely believe that I lost Corwin to that Broken Pattern. We still haven't found Montague, but now I'm wondering what the kid's gotten himself into. Those cards lead to some very unfun places, but at the same time, I don't feel like he's likely to be in any of them. Well, I don't know, I suppose he could be in the Amberlands with Osric and Finndo. I just don't think he used his own Trumps to get there. I just wish I knew what it means.
Damn the Eye! I hate mysteries.
Entry #3Still no sign of Corwin. I don't know what else was in that Shadow, but it didn't seem friendly at all.The battle for Kashfa was very strange, almost haphazard. It seemed as though the attacking general was just slightly insane. I can't put my finger on why though. I'll have to ask Benedict about the matter.
Random's put Edrigan and me in charge of the Amber's Navy since Gerard disappeared. I wonder if Alexandra would consider taking on a Captaincy. I'm going to need people I can trust in place. Edrigan is so passive that I'm not sure how able he is to lead men into serious combat when the need arises. Sure, he's had some battlefield experience, but does he have the will to press his attack when the time is right? That's the real question.
